Hotel Metropole

One of the most luxurious hotels in Venice, the Metropole offers views of the Lagoon from a privileged position, 350 metres from Saint Mark's Square. Rooms are decorated in an oriental style. Hotel Metropole is like a small museum, and features a collection of rare visiting-card cases, antique fans and art objects. The citrus garden includes palm trees and a 14th-century well. The Met Restaurant is the only hotel restaurant in Venice awarded with 2 Michelin stars. It is famous for its light flavours and unusual combinations. Between May and October, the Oriental Bar serves a selection of teas, homemade pastries and cakes in its lounge.
